Hi, everyone! Sorry I’m a little late to my own party. I trekked northward today to visit the folks and just got home after an icky drive back in the rain.

Tawny, you’re going to make my head swell and pop. Pop! Darn, there it went.

Ack, Gerri! As if I wasn’t nervous enough. Yeah, I figure it just gets tighter and tougher each round. I’m happy when each resting period comes between rounds.

Suz, I’ve often thought it’d be great to be able to make myself invisible. I’d have been one heck of an investigative journalist then. LOL!

Jo, my historical was an Oregon Trail book (American-set historicals are my favorite, as out of fashion as that might be at the moment). I did submit it a few places, including Harlequin Historical, but it being a first effort it was rejected across the board. I’ve toyed with pulling it out and seeing if it was salvageable at some point and might still, particularly if American-set historicals enjoy a resurgence.

Thanks, AC! This was actually the second time I entered the AT but the first time I made the cut. It is bizarrely nerve-wracking.

Hi Trish and Nancy! Great interview and I can’t wait to read the full story of Out of Sight. Huge congratulations, Trish, on reaching the finals of ATIV. That’s an amazing achievement. Fingers crossed for the final result. I was really interested in your writing process – gosh, I wish I wrote fast! But the downside is that you get restless. I guess every process has its pluses and its minuses. The nice thing about you writing fast is that your fans will have lots and lots of your stuff to read. Whoo-hoooo!

Interesting interview, Nancy and Trish. I’m impressed with your wide range of genres, Trish. I imagine it’s difficult to write within so many varied types.

Do you work on several manuscripts at a time. Or do you complete one and then go on to the next?

I’m curious about your one and only historical. Have you ever submitted it or is it one of those “under the bed” novels?

Hey Trish and Nancy, a big hello from the Bandit Lair’s medical wing! No patients tonight, so I thought I’d stop by and see what y’all were up to!

Loved hearing about the American Title story, Trish. The premise is one I can really get into! Invisibility would be like a cool super power to have, don’t you think?

As far as what I like to write? Historical suspense, romantic contemporary suspense, light hearted home-town suspense. Wait, I see a pattern here! And I have to agree with you, Trish. The best thing about writing is coming up with an idea and two characters, then watching the story develop into an actual book. I take great pleasure in writing “The End”
