Had to pop by to say hello and to congratulate both of you!!

And Aunty Cindy I LOVE your call story! Especially the part about the poor DH writing down every single word of the message! Too funny! I can just imagine the looks on your dogs’ faces! Mine had that look when I got my Golden Heart finalist call and after I scared the dogs and the cats I went out and scared the neighbor’s cows!! I can’t wait to get my hands on The Wild Sight. Cruising the bookstores tomorrow as it is my day off.

I like what you said – Keep writing and it will happen. I will try to get control of that right away! LOL

Thanks for stopping by, everybody! Jo, I sometimes wonder if we exercise the control that we could. Do we work to improve the writing itself? Do we pay attention to market factors? Not that I’m saying we should write to the market, but I think keeping an eye on it is wise.

Buffie, I think the “celebrate every sale with a cruise” idea sounds great. AC takes lots of wonderful trips, of course, but I can’t imagine she’d object to a special one. Glad you like what you found on my site. I’m still building and hope to have more when I conquer scanner phobia and can upload some of my older travel photos. You should definitely write the children’s book idea down. It’s a tough market, but aren’t they all, these days? Email me, and I’ll ask him for pointers.

Jeanne, I’m not a morning person, but I’d wake up to take that call!

PJ, I haven’t seen the book, either. I may have to special order it. So ditto on the “Grrr” part.

Anna, Helen, Fedora and Tawny, thanks again for the Maggie congrats. I’ve worn the medallion all day, and I periodically look down at it, just to see it in place. A friend brought a cord to the ceremony in case I won, so I have it on that. I think I’d like to have a necklace, though, for dressier occasions.
