Ann, sorry I missed your comment! Now that I’ve seen Star Trek, I think the reinvention of Batman is a good example. As for Nimoy, I suspect both he and Biehn will have really, really long lines.

And the lines were already annoying long. *sigh*

Thanks for stopping by. Saw Trek today, and it was, at least for us, way seriously cool. Others may disagree, of course. We thought it was true to the original, in spirit and in the characters.

I think you will love DragonCon. There’s always a lot to do!

Great blog! You got me excited about so many upcoming events. I am thrilled I’ll be heading to DragonCon in 2010, no matter who is there. Sounds very exciting. As for TV shows, I am a huge fan of The Closer and Burn Notice. As for movies, Harry Potter has become a family affair over the years. We make a huge day of it. Yet all that seems so far away . . . at least I’ll be pacified by seeing the newset Star Trek offering tomorrow. I gave way long ago to excitement. I’m sure I’ll love it no matter what.

I hope you enjoy the new Trek as much as I did. I’ve been a fan since the beginning but it’s interesting to see the franchise reinvented for a new generation–comparisons have been made to the reinvention of Batman and that seems accurate.
Interesting news that Nimoy is going to be at DragonCon as well as Biehn.
